Working for Council | Parks |Civil | Concrete Labourer

Do you have experience in Parks, Gardening, Horticulture, Civil Labouring or Concreting? This is an opportunity to work for council. You will be working across sites throughout North Brisbane.

Location: Caboolture, Burpengary, Narangba, Margate and Deception Bay

Start Time: 6:00am - 3:00pm
Start location: Straight to site around Narangba

About your new role

You will assist with the maintenance and construction of council owned property. You will be someone who adheres to strict WHS practices. Some of your duties may include:

• Keeping parks and community areas clean, safe, and well-presented.
• Driving Council Vehicles
• Driving Heavy Machinery (HR License) safely to various job sites.
• Using Chainsaws, Ride-on Mowers, and Earthmoving Machinery.
• Carpentry, landscaping, and Minor Civil Earthworks.
• This is an ongoing, consistent opportunity with a reliable rotating schedule.

What you will need to exceed

It is essential that you have the following:

• Previous Experience in role (essential)
• Work Safely in the Construction Industry (White Card)
• Open C Class drivers licence and reliable transport (essential)

Desirable

• MR Licence (Highly Advantageous)
• Chainsaw Ticket
• ACDC Licenses
• Cert III Horticulture
